Establishing an ESG Integrity and Ethical Management System

BMC continuously operates an Anti-Bribery Management System (ISO 37001) in line with international standards and reinforces its ethical management framework by conducting internal corruption-impact assessments when enacting or revising company regulations. In addition, to strengthen labor-management cooperation, BMC operates a Labor-Management Integrity Policy Council. Through the participation of Citizen Integrity Auditors in system improvement and oversight, the corporation ensures managerial transparency and enhances policy effectiveness.

Spreading a Culture of Integrity, Inside and Out

BMC is working to build a culture of integrity in public service by sharing CEO integrity messages, implementing the “One Department, One Integrity Task” program, hosting the BMC Integrity Golden Bell event, and organizing integrity forums. Furthermore, by establishing the Council of Auditors of Local Development Corporations and strengthening communication and cooperation both internally and externally, the corporation is striving to spread a culture of integrity.

Integrity with “ZERO” Real Estate Speculation

BMC prevents speculative activity by restricting the acquisition of real estate related to official duties. It also enforces a code of conduct and a conflict-of-interest prevention system to prohibit the private use of duty-related information. As an integrity-driven institution free from real estate speculation, the corporation will strengthen related systems and further enhance its ability to self-correct against corrupt practices.
